BENNY LANDA

"I was born in Brooklyn, New York City. I've been playing since the tender age of 8, but the guitar bug really began to consume me when I started meeting some of my heroes as a teenager..."

In 2012-2013, Benny has been doing serious NY session work with Graham Nash, Joe Vitale, Luba Dvorak & The Banned, Joey Degraw and Leslie Diamond. He has also been playing live gigs with the infamous Robert Gordon & Rob Stoner, James Maddock, Chris Barron & The Time Bandits, iconic irish singer Johnny Logan and many others...

Benny truly began his musical career at the age of 14...sneaking into bars to rock his guitar with some of Greenwich Village's top musicians, and playing alongside such legendary artists as Mark Knopfler, Carol King, Steve Forbert, Rick Danko, Henry Gross and Jaco Pastorius. Throughout his illustrious career, Benny has also performed, toured and recorded with such infamous musicians as: Anton Fig, John Regan, Steve Holley, Robert Gordon, Eric Stuart Band, Gary Mallaber, Lee Nestor, Bonnie Bowers, Melissa Cross, Cliff Eberhardt, Matts Wilander (Virgin Records Sweden), Dino Danelli, Smashed Gladys, Wendy Wall, Paul Hipp, Chris Spedding, Tom Fowler, Otis Blackwell, Jim Steinman, Blondie Chaplin, Nina Tollins, Jim Keller (Tommy Tutone) and Howard Tate. Benny also played on the title track for the highly acclaimed indy film "Being Ron Jeremy ".

Playing with emotionally raw power and melodic intensity, Benny is in constant demand as a session/touring guitarist and songwriter.
