Such a remarkable and intimate mini acoustic tour with A.J. Croce, the legendary, Grammy nominated singer/pianist/songwriter and son of folk/pop music icon Jim Croce. From The Katherine Hepburn Center Of Performing Arts, in Old Saybrook, CT. to The Paramount Theater in Asbury Park, NJ, we had such a great time traveling and playing together, whilst being regaled with stories of his travels, musical experiences and life adventures. He's worked, written and performed with some of the greatest musical artists of this century, from James Brown, to B.B. King, Ray Charles, to Allen Toussaint, Aretha Franklin, to Willie Nelson, etc., etc...and is so talented as a musician, songwriter and storyteller. His "go to" drummer is Jim Keltner, who also produced two of his albums, so I had some pretty big shoes to fill! It was such an honor to play with him. Truly an experience I'll never forget.
